Guidance for Interview 

Welcome to the Beauty Therapy and Wellbeing Subject Area and thank you for choosing UHI Perth. We want to make your interview as stress-free as possible and this quick guide is intended to support your interview process. 

The following is a guide for the interview: 

• Staff Introductions (5 minutes) 
• Short Presentation about the courses (10 minutes)
• Practical Activity (20 minutes)
• Individual Interviews (10 minutes) 
• Tour of the Facilities (10 minutes)

Hairdressing Level 5 & 6

Thank you for your application for hairdressing at UHI Perth. We would like to offer our support in making the interview process a positive experience for you. 

The group interview process will take place on campus. The structure for the day will be as follows:

• Welcome (5 min)
• Practical task on a mannequin head 
• Complete a set of written questions

Hairdressing Level 6 Only 

Please bring your hairdressing kit with you to your interview as there will be a practical test.
