Schools College Partnership
The Schools College Partnership offers a choice of subjects to pupils at secondary school, to develop practical, vocational, employment and academic skills.
UHI Perth works with all the secondary schools in Perth and Kinross to provide a set of courses suitable for students in this agegroup. Each year around 400 school students attend a college course once or twice each week as part of their school timetable. Many of these courses have a focus on skills for employment and the world of work.
Applications are open during a set period (usually mid-February to mid-March) and are submitted via the UHI Perth website. School candidates must also add their college course to their school course choice form. For enquiries about schools-college courses, speak to guidance staff at your school.
Courses for School Pupils
All of our School College Partnership courses can lead to further study at College, University or to employment. There are many benefits to undertaking a course while still at school, and doing so has helped a large number of young people on the path to a successful career.
