Please read through the following important information in preparation for the interview. 

You must bring: 

  • A short personal statement about yourself. Approximately one side of A4. Your statement should outline your career plans and how the course you have applied for will help you achieve your personal career goals. 
  • Copies of supporting documents, ie academic qualifications (SQA record of achievement), certificates, school reports, volunteering logs, and/or predicted grades, sport or fitness certificates and/or achievements. 
  • Current passport size photograph. 

If you bring all requested information to your interview it will mean a quicker turnaround of offer. Please come prepared to help us process your application as quick as possible.

Disclosure of Criminal Convictions of Those with Access to Children and Young People Under 18 and Vulnerable Adults 

You have chosen a course which, if successful, will lead to a profession where you are working with children or vulnerable adults, therefore it is necessary to check your records with the Scottish Criminal Records Office (PVG). This is a disclosure of criminal convictions of those with access to children and young people under 18 and vulnerable adults. The information you provide will be treated as confidential and used only in connection with your course application and destroyed when it has served that purpose. This offer is also made subject to PVG check and clearance, we reserve the right to withdraw our offer should you be unable to provide the evidence requested or fail to gain a clear PVG check. If any other information comes to the attention of the college that has not been shared/disclosed whereby college management cannot appropriately manage the safety and welfare of students and staff your college place may have to be withdrawn.
