Disclosure of Criminal Convictions of Those with Access to Children and Young People Under 18 and Vulnerable Adults

You have chosen a course which, if successful, will lead to a profession where you are working with children or vulnerable adults, therefore it is necessary to check your records with the Scottish Criminal Records Office (PVG). This is a disclosure of criminal convictions of those with access to children and young people under 18 and vulnerable adults. The information you provide will be treated as confidential and used only in connection with your course application and destroyed when it has served that purpose. This offer is also made subject to PVG check and clearance, we reserve the right to withdraw our offer should you be unable to provide the evidence requested or fail to gain a clear PVG check. If any other information comes to the attention of the college that has not been shared/disclosed whereby college management cannot appropriately manage the safety and welfare of students and staff your college place may have to be withdrawn.

When attending in person for an interview you must print out and complete the PAR Q Questionnaire Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) and bring it with you to the interview.  If you are under 16, a parent/guardian must sign it.
