About this course
About this course
This course is designed to provide skills and knowledge for young people interested in a Hospitality and provides a progression route to other Hospitality courses and programmes as well as skills and certificates to progress into employment in a vibrant and exiting industry.
Aimed at pupils in S5- S6, the course is at Level 6 and will provide learning opportunities in the College within our Hospitality and Food Studies department.
Experience in a live practical environment, our Training Restaurant - The Gallery - and kitchens will give you transferable skills to enhance your career in Hospitality or other career paths.

Course Content
Learners will complete a range of 4 units, including Hospitality Industry, Customer Care Excellence in Hospitality, Barista Skills, Food Hygiene for the Hospitality Industry.
Learners will develop the key team working skills required in the hospitality industry. This highly practical programme will also focus on a skills to deliver a high level of customer care and will be mostly delivered in our training restaurant and kitchens, with some in a class room environment.
If required, learners will attend the REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate and FSA Allergen Awareness Training Certificate.
