There are currently 4,579 fitness instructors in Scotland with an average salary of £22,360. The average salary for a Sport and Exercise Scientist is £42,120. 61% of Lifeguards are employed part-time as this is a great source of income while studying. The UK average salary of an Outdoor Activities Instructor, Sports Development Officer or Sport Coach is £28,600. Almost 60% of all Personal Trainers are self employed.
