Performance Indicators and External Reviews

Our external reviews are carried out on a 4 yearly cycle for a full review, however we are engaged with aspect reviews throughout an academic year and in contact with our lead HM Inspector.

Aspect Review: An aspect review, looks at specific areas, whether that be the curriculum subject or support areas.

Key FE Performance Indicators: These indicators are announced annually by the Scottish Funding Council.

Education Scotland Inspection: These external full reviews take place on a 4 yearly cycle.

Sustainability measures: Our total carbon emissions increased from 1,125 tonnes in 2023/24 to 2,754 tonnes in 2024/25. This rise reflects the first-time inclusion of Scope 3 emissions, which account for 1,829 tonnes or 64% of the 2024/25 total. On a like-for-like basis, comparing Scopes 1 and 2 only, emissions decreased by 100 tonnes, demonstrating a modest reduction in our direct and energy-related emissions.
