EU Applicants – Important Information

If you're applying to study at UHI Perth from the EU, here are some key things to know:

English Language Requirements

If English is not your first language, you’ll need to provide evidence of your English language ability.

For Further Education Courses (Access, NC, NQ NPA, NVQ, SVQ)

  • IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
  • Minimum 4.5 in all four components

     You can sit the test in your home country or at UK centres in:

  • Edinburgh
  • Glasgow
  • Aberdeen

If you're outside the UK, you’ll need to sit the test in your home country. You can find your nearest test centre via the IELTS official website.

For Higher Education Courses (HNC/D, Degree, Postgraduate)

If your qualifications are not in English, you must provide notarised translations so we can carry out equivalency checks.
