Fraser Keil, Independent Board Member

Fraser Keil is an experienced project delivery and business leader whose career spans energy, marine construction, engineering consultancy and specialist contracting in the UK and internationally.

He currently works for SSEN Transmission as Head of Marine Construction, providing specialist leadership across a portfolio of major electricity transmission projects. His role focuses on construction strategy, technical and delivery risk, and the development of marine infrastructure including subsea cables, landfalls and offshore works.

Previously, Fraser has held a number of commercial and operational roles including business unit manager of an engineering consultancy and was also founder and Technical Director of a Canadian specialist marine construction and intervention contractor.

Alongside his executive career, Fraser has held board and committee roles in the education, housing and student-association sectors and holds an MBA with Project Management from Abertay University.

Having completed much of his higher education alongside full-time employment, Fraser particularly values flexible and accessible learning. He is married with a young family.
