Roles

  • Mike leads the Sustainable Deer Management Module at MSc and BSc level. He is involved in a variety of applied research projects focussing on ecological and sustainable land use within mountain areas including work on deer, dotterel, capercaillie, biodiversity, crofting, impacts of mountain bikes and peatlands.

  • BSc Ecology (Wildlife Management), University of Edinburgh
  • PhD Zoology (Biology and conservation of the Scottish Wildcat), University of Oxford
