Gail Dunn, Chief Finance Officer

Gail is a highly experienced finance professional with a strong track record in strategic financial leadership, planning and organisational effectiveness skills that will be invaluable as she leads the financial stewardship of the college’s operational and strategic goals. She worked at Fife College for 13 years, most recently serving as Director of Finance.

Gail is an ACCA-qualified accountant, with extensive experience in senior financial roles across complex organisations, combining deep technical expertise with a clear focus on supporting sustainable growth and performance.

In her role as CFO at UHI Perth, Gail will oversee the college’s financial strategy, budgeting, reporting and risk management, ensuring robust financial frameworks that support excellence in teaching, services and student outcomes. Her leadership will be key to strengthening financial planning and delivering long-term stability for the institution.

Known for her strategic mindset, commercial awareness and collaborative approach, Gail brings both insight and integrity to the finance function. She is committed to working closely with colleagues across the college to deliver sound financial governance and support UHI Perth’s mission and ambitions.
