UHI Perth to Launch Climate Café®

A Space for Conversation and Climate Action

UHI Perth will soon host its first Climate Café®, joining a global movement that encourages open, inclusive conversations about climate change. The inaugural session for staff and students is scheduled for Thursday 25 September 2025, from 1pm to 3pm in Room S105, located in the Library of the Brahan Building.

The Climate Café® will provide a relaxed space where attendees can come together to share ideas, explore feelings, and discuss practical responses to climate challenges. Future sessions may include guest speakers, workshops, and collaborative projects, with opportunities to connect with local communities and initiatives.

Organised by June Wilson, Estates Maintenance and Sustainability Coordinator, the initiative reflects UHI Perth’s ongoing commitment to climate awareness and community engagement. The Climate Café® will be part of a wider international network that believes in the power of dialogue to inspire action and build resilience.
