Officially opened in 2017 by Scotland's Deputy First Minister, John Swinney, the ASW provides learning and teaching space for sport and fitness, hairdressing, and beauty therapy courses. In addition there are gym suites, weights lifting area, a fitness studio, a six-court sports hall and Scotland's newest indoor Climbing Centre.

Fiona Leslie, Perth College UHI Development Trust Manager, said: “This event gave donors and friends of Perth College UHI the opportunity to see for themselves how successful the ASW is and how it is proving to be a fantastic facility for students, staff and the local community. It is going from strength to strength, becoming a centre for major international sporting events and rising gym memberships.

“Our ‘Ball in the Wall campaign’ helped raised over £165,000 to equip the centre and we wanted to thank donors for their generous support.”
