Awards for Schools College Partnership Pupils
Five young people, who have completed a Schools College Partnership (SCP) course as part of their school timetable, have won awards at the recent UHI Perth Prizegiving.
Emily Bain, (Kinross High School) Foundation Apprenticeship Student of the Year, said she hadn't expected to win the award:
"It's really nice. My lecturer was so supportive, and the course made it so much easier to get into uni. The experience I got on my work placement was amazing."
Sumeru Pun, (St John’s Academy) Business, Science, Technology and Wellbeing SCP Student of the Year, said winning the award felt great:
"It's a lot different to school. There's more variety, it's engaging and hands-on. I've learned new things I wouldn't have at school.”
