Students Raise £485 for Local Charities
Successful charity bake sale
UHI Perth Access to Nursing and Social Services students Jessica, Abigail and Erin raised an impressive £485 during a recent charity bake sale held on campus.
The event was organised as part of the students’ social enterprise activity within their course, where they were tasked with planning, promoting, and delivering a real‑world community initiative. Their hard work and teamwork resulted in a hugely successful fundraiser that attracted students, staff, and visitors throughout the day.
Proceeds are being donated to two local charities Perth & Kinross Foodbank and Buttons and Bows. These organisations provide vital support to individuals and families across the region, and the students were keen to choose causes that make a meaningful impact in their local community.
