Student awarded prestigious scholarship

Damian Kwiatkowski, a hospitality student has been awarded a prestigious industry scholarship.

In February 2020, he will travel to Switzerland to attend the HIT Scotland-funded course at Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, consistently regarded as the best hospitality school in the world.

Damian, 38, originally from Poland and now living in Auchterarder is studying HND Hospitality Management and employed at the Gleneagles Hotel as Manager of The American Bar.

He explained: “I’m very aware of the Lausanne’s excellent reputation for hospitality education as I’ve already worked with students who have studied there through my career which included a stint in London.

“This is a fabulous opportunity to meet new people and make new connections. I’m very much looking forward to the experience and it is a great honour to be chosen.”
