Crieff Learning Centre officially opened

Our Crieff Learning Centre was officially opened today following its relocation to new premises in James Square, Crieff.

Pam Wilson, Perth College UHI Vice Principal, Academic cut a specially-commissioned cake to celebrate the event. The open day was attended by members of the community who enjoyed coffee and cake, met staff and found out about the wide range of provision available through the centre.

Rhona Munro, Head of Learning Resources explained: “This was a great opportunity to meet our community and gain feedback about what they would like to see offered in our new location. The improved teaching facilities provide local people with the opportunity to access learning and training on their doorstep. We’re delighted to offer this updated resource to all sectors of the community.”

Learning Centre Manager, Susan Carter, continued: “We have added brand new courses accredited by Microsoft to our portfolio which will appeal to anyone seeking to improve their employment prospects. We are also working with our colleagues in Perth and across the University of the Highlands and Islands to ensure that local people can be supported to achieve recognised qualifications to enhance their career opportunities and to support businesses training needs.”
