Green Technology Conference at Perth College UHI

EcoTechnic, previously known as the business network, PKGTBA, hosted the Circular Economy and Waste Management Conference this week at Perth College UHI.

Delegates at the event listened to a number of ground breaking presentations by experts and practitioners in Waste Management. Among the speakers were: Zero Waste Scotland, Binn Eco Park and Re-Tek.

The aim of the event was to demonstrate how to keep products and materials in a high-value state of use for as long as possible.

Annabel Baker, Project Officer for EcoTechnic explains, “Today’s event was an exciting insight into just how far we have advanced in technologies and attitudes to deal with waste and recycling.”

The successful business network, PKGTBA, re-launched under the name, EcoTechnic (Clean Tech Perth & Kinross). The venture is supported by a range of bodies at the forefront of clean technologies such as Stagecoach, Perth & Kinross Council, Scottish Enterprise, Binn Eco Park and Perth College UHI.
