We're delighted to share that UHI Perth's Green Living Fund application has progressed to the public voting stage of the Perth and Kinross Council Green Living Fund 2026/27.

The Green Living Fund supports local projects that make a positive difference to sustainability, climate action and greener living across Perth and Kinross. To secure funding, projects must receive at least 50 public votes, so every vote really does count.

Our Project: The Living Campus
The Living Campus will replace older growing beds with new accessible food-growing spaces for people of all abilities and introduce solar power on campus. The project will help us grow more fresh produce to provide free to students facing financial hardship, while reducing food miles and waste. It will also create opportunities for volunteering, improve wellbeing and promote climate action across our campus community.

How to vote
Voting is open until 23 November 2026 and takes just a few minutes to complete. Staff, students and members of the community are all encouraged to take part.

Please note:

  • Your vote must be for projects in the ward where you live.
  • You will be asked to vote for six projects in total for your submission to count.
  • Please make sure you vote for UHI Perth - The Living Campus (right at the end!)

By supporting our project, you'll be helping UHI Perth continue its commitment to sustainability and environmental improvement for the benefit of our campus and wider community. Thank you for your support and please help spread the word with friends, family and colleagues.
