Apprentice Awards 2026 for Perth and Kinross
We celebrated the achievements of local apprentices and employers at an awards ceremony held at UHI Perth last night, highlighting the power of work-based learning to transform lives and strengthen the local economy.
The Apprentice Awards for Perth and Kinross were developed in partnership by Perth and Kinross Council, Skills Development Scotland, Developing the Young Workforce Tay Cities, and UHI Perth. The awards aim to showcase the value of apprenticeships to individuals, businesses and the wider economy, while encouraging more local nominations for the national Scottish Apprenticeship Awards later this year.
The event brought together apprentices, employers, mentors and education partners to recognise outstanding achievements and celebrate the positive impact apprenticeships have across Perth and Kinross.
It was a fantastic evening celebrating apprenticeship success. Congratulations to all finalists and winners, and thank you to our partners, employers, mentors and families who support apprenticeship journeys every day.

- Graduate Apprentice of the Year: Charles Milne, Project Services Apprentice
- Apprentice Mentor of the Year: Gordon Dochard, Gleneagles Hotel
- Apprentice Employer of the Year: Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust (HPCLT)
