Job Shop Plus

Our students have access to a free, online Job Shop that provides you with help and advice in finding part-time work, graduate vacancies and voluntary work.

As well as a source of extra income, a part-time job helps you to develop the skills that employers are looking for, helps you improve your CV and gives you more to talk about at interviews.

While these are great benefits that make finding part-time work worthwhile, please remember that the National Union of Students recommends you spend no more than 16 hours a week on it in term-time to avoid your grades being affected.

In addition to job vacancies, the Job Shop Plus provides useful information about work such as where to look for jobs, how to apply and how to understand the jargon in job adverts.

This service is open to any of our students through the student intranet, Perthnet.
