COVID-19 Student Support Fund
Our COVID-19 Student Support Fund has been launched, thanks to support from Perth College Development Trust.
The fund will provide assistance for Perth College UHI students impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
The pandemic has left many students in severe financial difficulty. Many have lost their jobs and, because they are full-time students, are unable to apply for universal credit, leaving them struggling to pay for their rent and food. Others do not have the necessary equipment to work from home and cannot afford to buy essential technology.
The COVID-19 Student Support Fund can provide funding up to £500 to assist with essential support for example:
- Housing and food bills
- Rent
- Technical assistance / equipment to enable remote coursework including laptops and broadband connections
Any Perth College UHI student who has been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and wishes to apply for help should Covid Student Support fund guidance and complete and submit the application form.
Applications will be considered every two weeks.
