Perth III: Special issue of Mountain Research and Development journal

A special issue of Mountain Research and Development journal is now available to view online.
The special issue includes diverse contributions from the authors of presentations at the Perth III: Mountains of our Future Earth on issues of sustainable mountain development.
The international conference, which ran from 5 to 8 October 2015, was attended by 400 people from 52 countries on 6 continents. Held in Perth, Scotland the event was organized by the Centre for Mountain Studies (CMS), together with 2 global organizations: the Mountain Research Initiative (MRI) and the Global Mountain Biodiversity Assessment (GMBA).
The special issue concludes with an evaluation of the conference as well as recommendations for future research in sustainable mountain development.
