Library Induction

Have you had your Library Induction? If not, ask your lecturer to arrange one. In the meantime have a look at our Library User Guide.

content

As you might expect from a university campus, we have a custom-built, modern space housing over 30,000 books, journals and multimedia items. As part of the University of the Highlands and Islands, our students can access a huge variety of Electronic Resources, including E-books and E-journals. As you progress through your course, you will have assignments to complete and exams to sit. The library facilities and services can help you to prepare for them and achieve better results.

UHI Perth students and staff can borrow up to 15 books on standard loan up to 150 days. Items issued on a standard loan can be recalled after 2 weeks, following a request from another user. Recall, reservation, and overdue notices are sent to your student/staff email.

A valid student ID card is required to borrow any materials from the library. The person who borrowed materials from the library is solely responsible for their return.
