Library

As you would expect on a university campus, we have a custom-built, modern space housing over 30,000 books, PCs, and a LapSafe cabinet with laptops available for students to use while on campus.

As part of the University of the Highlands and Islands, our students have access to a wide range of electronic resources, including e-books and e-journals.

Throughout your course, you will complete assignments and sit exams. The library’s facilities and services are here to help you prepare and achieve your best results.

UHI Perth students and staff may borrow up to 15 books on standard loan for up to 150 days. Items issued on standard loan may be recalled after two weeks if requested by another user. Recall, reservation, and overdue notices will be sent to your student or staff email account.

A valid student ID (via the myDay app) is required to borrow any materials from the library. The person who borrows the materials is solely responsible for their return.
