We are pleased to welcome international students from all over the world every year.

Choose from an impressive range of top quality courses, from Higher National (HN) courses to Honours and Masters degrees, or improve your English language skills at our British Council-accredited Language School, which has been successfully delivering courses since 1971.

Our commitment to providing an outstanding and supportive international student experience has been recognised by the Scottish Council for Development and Industry, which awarded us with an International Achievement commendation, as well as being highly commended in the annual Scotland's Colleges Awards in the 'International Activity' category. We are also a member of English UK.

Settling into life in Perth

Our International Induction Programme will ensure that you have all the information you need for your studies and your new life in Perth.

We’re here to help you make the most of your time in Scotland and get to know other students to ensure you enjoy your student life. We have established an International Students’ Social Programme, which enables you to visit places of historical and cultural interest or participate in a wide range of outdoor adventure activities.

You have access to our International Student Centre co-located alongside all key student support services. You can also enjoy our impressive range of services and facilities from salons to study centres and a quiet room for prayer. Aramark, our hospitality partner can provide Halal ready meals on request.

Where to go for advice

Our staff will help with any questions you might have, from advice on choosing the right course for you and finding accommodation to any questions you may have about money or health.

Our staff also make regular trips overseas to attend educational fairs, visit the agents and institutions we work with, and meet with potential applicants. If you are interested in finding out when we might be visiting your country, please get in touch on: perthinternational.perth@uhi.ac.uk

Representatives in your country

The university also has a number of trusted in-country representatives, also known as education agents. They can supporting you through the application process, including with your visa. There is no fee to access this support.
