Taking place on Saturday 24th October, in the Academy of Sport and Wellbeing, UHI Perth, the event will see local people step into the ring after months of training to raise vital funds for an incredible cause. Expect an electric atmosphere with a special guest appearance from former World Heavyweight Champion Frank Bruno MBE and live music from Callum Beattie - an action-packed evening you'll never forget.

Founded by Perthshire boxing coach and former heavyweight boxer John Andrew McKechnie, 'Cathy’s Song' is a heartfelt tribute to McKechnie’s late mother Cathy and to legendary boxing coach Dave Thompson MBE, both of whom sadly passed away from cancer on July 27 - exactly one year apart - and played a major role in shaping his life.
