People with good skills in administration are always in demand and this course provides an excellent introduction to a career in this area. As well as developing your administrative skills this programme will also teach you about other subjects that are important in the workplace, such as working with others, problem solving and time management.
So whether you’re a school leaver or mature student, you will gain the confidence you need to find administrative work or progress to study at Higher National level.
You should have communications at SCQF 4 or equivalent and have successfully completed four years of secondary education. Your application and interview will form part of the selection process.

Students on part-time courses may also be eligible to have their course fees waived.
What can I do on completion of my course?
On successful completion of the course you should be able to join the HNC Administration and Information Technology or HNC Accounting.
You will be qualified to find work as an administrative assistant, in a junior clerical position or as a receptionist.
