Employment History

  • Award winning professional artist who exhibits work nationally and internationally. Work is held in many public and private collections.
  • Director of a company that provides Art Therapy and creative wellbeing workshops. Clients include primary and secondary school across local authorities, Dundee Contemporary Arts, Dundee City Council, Perth and Kinross Council, the University of Dundee, and Art Angel Dundee.
  • Has worked as an Art Therapist for children’s charities, including Barnardo’s, Action for Children, Teen-Talk and Creative Therapies.
  • Lectured and tutored extensively within the higher education sector, including work at the University of the Highlands and Islands, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (University of Dundee).
  • Fully qualified Art and Design teacher and has taught in Dundee schools.
  • Prior to undertaking formal art training undertook molecular biology research - DNA capture for forensic applications.
