Carefully tending to the plants in the Pocket Garden

The children and staff spent a lot of time growing all the plants from seed to create their Pocket Garden over the last few months. You can see a gallery of their fantastic efforts here.

Their Garden celebrates fresh water and nature in the heart of the Perth. As the River Tay flows between Smeaton's Bridge and Queen's Bridge, milk bottles are re-used to create the houses and the river itself. The river doubles as a bird bath and the river bank is also a herb garden.

Please vote, and remember the competition closes on Sunday 13th June.

See the video below for their fantastic song about the River Tay!
