Perth College UHI will open its doors to the public on Saturday 29 September as part of Doors Open Day 2018.  Running from 10am-4pm, the event will showcase the College’s contribution to the wider community and the investments which have been made to enhance learning.

In addition to guided tours of the campus, visitors will also be offered the chance to attempt landing a plane in the flight simulator or scale the heights of the new state-of-the-art Climbing Centre.

Dr Margaret Cook, Principal, commented, "We're delighted to be opening our doors again, we took part for the first time last year and it was a great event for our local community and beyond.

“We fit perfectly with this year’s theme celebrating the Scottish Year of Young People: ‘Back to School: past, present and future’ as part of our building was previously Goodlyburn school, and we are a current centre of learning as a leading College in the University of the Highlands and Islands.”

Perth College UHI is part of the ‘Back to School’ challenge. Visitors can visit at least 3 of the education buildings outlined at www.doorsopendays.org.uk and submit a photo to win a Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust publication. Doors Open Days is a national event run by the Scottish Civic Trust and supported by Historic Environment Scotland.
