Audio Engineering conference success
AES (Audio Engineering Society) and JAMES (Joint Audio Media Education Support) conference
An AES and JAMES conference held in the college's Goodlyburn studio theatre was hailed a success. Nick Green, Sector Manager: Audio Engineering and Theatre Arts said: "It was a well-attended event, with 70 in the theatre. The presentations were great, Melvyn Toms from JAMES discussed his 35 years at Abbey Road and the acoustic design evolution of studio 1, Studio People discussed the need for acoustically treated but also inspiring spaces for the creative industries and I did a presentation on field recording acoustics and archaeoacoustics."
