Entry requirements
SCQF - Level 4 / National - 4 in Maths and English, and ideally a science or technical or skills based subject, this may be waived dependant on candidate experience, maturity and interest in working in the retail automotive industry at the discretion of the department.
You will also be asked to undertake an aptitude test and discuss your application with a member of college staff.

Students on part-time courses may also be eligible to have their course fees waived.
What can I do on completion of my course?
After completion of the course, you may be able to progress to the L5 IMI Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course. This qualification may allow candidates to progress into Employment, a Modern Apprenticeship (College Day Release) or to the following IMI Qualifications: Full time: IMI Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles at SCQF Level 5.
