What is special about this course?
The business world is constantly changing and employers want their staff to have the range of skills our NQ in Business and IT offers. This national qualification provides an excellent introduction to business for school leavers and mature students, giving you the confidence and skills you need to find work in a business environment or to study at Higher National level.
Communcations at SCQF 4 and you should have completed four years of secondary education. Your application and interview will form part of the selection process.

In this course, you will also study five Core Skills, including Communication, ICT and Numeracy, which can help you to gain the essential skills required for life, learning and employment.

Most full-time students will have their fees paid.
Students on part-time courses may also be eligible to have their course fees waived.
What can I do on completion of my course?
On successful completion of the course you should be able to progress to HNC Accounting or HNC Business course(s).
This level of qualification should help you to find a job as a clerical or retail assistant within the public or private business sector.
