What is special about this course?

This course aims to introduce the skills and knowledge required to follow a professional career path within the building industry at technician level. Mainly taught within a classroom environment, practical experience is gained from site visits, field trips and laboratory workshops.

Entry requirements

You will be invited to discuss your application with us and must be able to demonstrate the academic ability to work at SCQF Level 6.  You will be asked to attend an interview and undertake an aptitude test.  You can also progress onto this course with the NPA Construction Multi-skills qualification.

This course leads to the HNC Construction Management

This course prepares you for a variety of jobs within the industry, including quantity surveying or architectural technician and on building sites at supervisor and technical level.
