Entry requirements
You must have at least two years' work experience in a relevant setting PLUS one of the following:
- BA (Hons) Social Work (or equivalent)
- GA BA Early Learning and Childcare
- Degree/Diploma in Community Education as recognised by the Standards Council for Community Learning and Development for Scotland Approvals Committee
- A qualification meeting the registration requirements for the following professional groups regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council:
- Occupational Therapists
- Art, Music and Drama Therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Speech and Language Therapists
- Practitioner Psychologists
- A qualification meeting the registration requirements of the General Teaching Council (Scotland), Nursing and Midwifery Council, or the General Medical Council
CPD Award
You will study the following modules:
- Contemporary issues in childhood practice
- Leading change in childhood practice
- Promoting children’s rights and inclusion in childhood practice

- You will learn through online study via the university's virtual learning environment (VLE), with support from your tutors

Most full-time students will have their fees paid.
