Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing: An Introduction Access

What is special about this course?

The Introduction to Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing programme is designed and developed to provide a foundation of skills which will provide grounding for a career within beauty therapy, hairdressing and related industries. It provides candidates the opportunity to develop techniques in key skills whilst ensuring an understanding of beauty industry and hairdressing methods and skills. The course focuses on practical skills, interpersonal skills and underpinning knowledge which will enable learners the opportunity to develop transferable skills and a positive attitude to learning within a specialist subject area and onto further training and study.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements.  All candidates would be invited for interview and this will form part of the selection process.

  • Facial Skin Care
  • Manicure
  • An Introduction to Current Make up Skils
  • An Introduction to Eye Treatments
  • Occasion Hair
  • Shampoo and Condition Hair
  • Styling Hair
  • Introduction to Temporary Colour

Fees

Most full-time students will have their fees paid.

Students on part-time courses may also be eligible to have their course fees waived.
