Kevin Lamont

Lecturer

Kevin has a BSc Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland and a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from the University of the West of Scotland. Kevin has seventeen years' experience working in the Electronics industry, both in the defence sector and latterly in the telecommunications sector.

Kevin subsequently trained as a mathematics teacher and spent several years working in schools in Fife. He has been at UHI Perth since 2006 and has worked teaching mathematics and numeracy at levels from Access 3 to Higher across the College. He has been teaching in the Engineering department full time since 2013. Kevin teaches mainly on the NQ Level 5, Level 6 and the HNC Engineering Systems courses.
