I am a part-time Lecturer in Psychology and teach on the Higher Psychology and NQ Social Sciences courses.

Qualifications

  • BSc (Hons.) Forensic Psychobiology – University of Abertay Dundee
  • PhD in Neuropsychology entitled:  The relation between reading ability and non-automatic language processing in Parkinson’s disease and non-pathological aging – University of Dundee

Research Interests

I have a range of research interests including the neuropsychology of aging and what happens to our brain and cognitive capacity as we age. My most recent research explored the impact of culture on alcohol consumption in women in Scotland.

Hobbies

In my spare time, I survive having 3 young children (including twins!) and a puppy, reading historical fiction, and watching endless junior football matches, usually in the rain!
