James Alexander

James joined the Health and Social Care team in 2016. He teaches subjects that help students gain a better understanding about mental health and wellbeing, human development and behaviour. He also addresses the importance of care workers promoting the rights and welfare of people who need some extra support.

His interest in care began as a young volunteer working with refugees in East Africa. Since then, he has been working to support young people and adults to gain the confidence and skills to overcome personal barriers in order to enter education or employment.
