Are you 16-19 and currently not working or are you a parent either in work or unemployed looking to get into employment or upskill yourself? Our FREE 6-week course is a great opportunity to develop industry relevant skills to enable you to succeed in employment or further study at Perth College UHI.

As our personal and working life becomes more digital it is important that we have the skills to navigate around them. Our team of ICT and Computing lecturers will equip you with the confidence and necessary skills.

By the end of this 6-week course you will have knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases and Powerpoint. You will be able to apply for jobs, create CVs and use your devices to access the internet safely and securely.

Your travel costs will be covered and lunches will be provided during the course.

Free Childcare Support will be available subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.

This is a 6-week course, starting 23 January 2023.

This is a face-to-face course and you will require to be in College on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am-4pm.

This course is suitable for:

  • 16-19 year olds who are currently not working
  • Parents in work or out of work (please note eligible parents must have children aged 20 or under)
