Plumbing SVQ Level 3- At the 2015 UHI Perth Prizegiving, Matthew won two awards.

Matthew completed his Plumbing SVQ whilst working for local employer LW Haddow Plumbing and Heating Ltd. In addition, he is studyed HNC Construction Management in the evenings. At the 2015 UHI Perth Prizegiving, he won two awards.

“The lecturers have been really good and helpful; they’ve always wanted to go the extra mile to help you prepare for the exams. After completing the HNC Construction Management, I’m considering going onto a university-level course.’’

Gordon Nisbet, Plumbing and Gas lecturer says: “Matthew produces a high level of consistency in every task he undertakes, he readily grasps and applies new skills attained in his workshop activities and produces a very good standard of work.

Matthews drive and thirst for knowledge has taken him to attend evening classes this session where he is currently undertaking an HNC in Construction Management. He has just successfully completed his first year, where again, he has impressed staff.”
