Job summary: To build Refuse Vehicle Collection Vehicles while meeting targets for safety, quality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • To mechanically assemble pumps and PTOS on units.
  • To fit gear box and engine mounted PTOS.
  • To fit hydraulic pumps including hydraulic hose skiving, hydraulic tube cutting and flaring.
  • Assembly of industrial hoses using crimp ferrules.
  • Pressure test hydraulic systems for both high and low pressure.
  • To provide on the job training to other employees.
  • To ensure work area is kept tidy and hazard free.
  • To ensure any defect tools are reported to the Team Leader.

Regular Roles and Responsibilities

Housekeeping

We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, energetic, proactive, kind, friendly and presentable.  This is a varied role in an energetic and fun working environment.  At the farm there is always a flurry of activity behind the scenes and we use a number of cloud based systems to communicate with our team and guests the ability to jump right in and learn the systems and processes is really important.

Full training will be provided, however experience in cleaning and housekeeping is preferred. 

The applicant must be computer literate, have an eye for detail and work well in a team.  Must have a full drivers license.

Experience in cleaning preferred but full training is provided.

Working Pattern and Holiday Entitlement:

As a guide - 6-month commitment – 1 hour weekly although this will be flexible and may fluctuate to meet mentor and mentee availability
