HISA Perth - Students' Association
The Students’ Association is here for you!
Welcome to HISA Perth - the Highland and Islands Students Association. Once you are a student of Perth College UHI, you automatically become a member of the student’s association. HISA represents all students in the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) and its academic partners.
HISA Perth is led by three student officers: the President, Vice President of Education and Engagement and the Vice President of Activities and Welfare. We represent the students’ voice to make the student life and experience on campus engaging and lively.
At the beginning of every academic year, students from each class are appointed the role of class representative. They are the voice of the students and we work closely to improve the student experience across the college.
We also work closely with the National Union of Students (NUS) and other students associations across the country to ensures that Perth College UHI has a national voice.
Throughout the year, various events and activities are organised - the most memorable being Freshers’ Fayre which is held at the beginning of the academic year. We also have clubs and societies running throughout the year where you can meet people that share the same interests as you. These events provide students with the opportunity to connect with HISA and with student life at college.
HISA Perth is located in the Union, Webster Building (View our Campus Map). We have an open door policy from 9am to 5pm, so come and chat with us anytime.
Connect with us via email, social media, or drop into the office.
