Timeline to Graduation

Registration for Graduation opens.

3 August – 11 September

Register to attend Graduation, order your academic dress and order your photography package.

11 September at 12 noon

Registration for graduation closes.

(No further registrations will be accepted after this date)

Extra Tickets: apply from 5pm on 14 September until 12 noon
16 September

If additional tickets become available, a text will be sent to your mobile to tell you and to remind you that the extra tickets will be available, on a 'first come-first served' basis, from 5pm on 14 September.

7 days before Graduation

We will e-mail you your final graduation information normally 7 days before the Ceremony.

The e-mail will include a letter giving you an allocated appointment time to arrive at the Concert Hall to collect your robes. This email will also contain a briefing guide giving you full details about the Ceremony.

Your guest tickets (you don’t need one) will be available for collection, on the day of the Ceremony, when you register, at Perth Concert Hall.

Please remember that it is your responsibility to:

  • Ensure that your contact information is kept up-to-date on your record.
  • If any of your contact details change after 31 July, please email your new details to graduationcoordinator.perth@uhi.ac.uk
  • Register before the deadline.

What to do before the day

  1. An email will be sent to your personal email address to tell you when registration for graduation opens, it will invite you to register and explain how to register to attend the ceremony. Please see Frequently Asked Questions for information regarding this.  If you have not received a e-mail from us by Friday 28 August, please contact us to let us know.
  2. Complete the online Invitation to Graduation promptly and before the deadline of 12 noon on 11 September.
  3. Order your academic gown and hood and book your photography package.
  4. If you and / or your guests have additional support needs, please indicate this in the answer to the question when you register and the Graduation Co-ordinator will contact you to discuss your requirements.

Not attending the ceremony?

Please let us know if you are not able to attend the graduation ceremony.

Changing your details

If you make any changes to your registration (eg after registering you decide you are unable to attend or have moved house), please update our Graduation Co-ordinator with these details.
