About this Course
The NPA Construction Craft and Technician courses gives learners an introduction to techniques utilised in the construction sector.
A range of practical skills are developed including painting and decorating, and carpentry and bench joinery. In addition the course involves employability skills which are transferrable across a number of future pathways.
This course is available to study over one or two academic years depending on the group.
Mandatory Units:
- Understanding Industry
- Personal Development: Self and Work
The optional Units will depend on course location. School based groups will look at Carpentry, Joinery and Paintwork.

An interest in the subject and ability to work at SCQF Level 4.
