We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for TWO awards at this years’ Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Star Awards!

Many congrats to everyone whose efforts have been recognised for their excellent work. We look forward to progressing to the next stages and meeting other finalists at the awards evening on 25th November at Crieff Hydro.

  • Excellence in Digital Media Award: ‘Inspirational and authentic content to positively influence student recruitment’.
The Perth College UHI Marketing Team offered rich content to potential applicants in order to help them decide whether to apply for a course in these uncertain times. Adding our amazing student’s stories; student support, curriculum and campus videos to our platforms has strongly improved our Digital Media content, accessibility and reach. Following on from this, the fantastic Graduation Ceremony digital and press coverage sent a really positive message about our inspirational and successful students and should impact positively on the reputation of the College and future student recruitment.

  • Outstanding Young Business Person Award: Jack Parr – Macrotrition
Jack Parr is a young entrepreneur aged 26, who was originally a student at Perth College UHI. During lockdown, Jack opened a meal prep business called Macrotrition in Perth High Street selling healthy meals, and in July 2022 opened his second business in Kelty High Street. The shops offer meals for those looking to maintain weight, lose weight and bulk up.
