Gratitude shown for valuable work placements

Perth College UHI Horticulture lecturers Stuart Downie and Dr Robert Boyd, were delighted to say a big thank you to a number of local businesses and enterprises that have provided invaluable work placements for horticulture students in recent years. Guests and students were treated to excellent home-made apple pie and cream as they discussed future placements on this popular course.

The pies were baked and served by Professional Cookery and Hospitality students within the award-winning College Training Restaurant using fruit from trees planted in 2011 for the Orchard 800 project. To book a table in the restaurant, email Restaurant.Perth@uhi.ac.uk
