The Big Perth College Declutter
Pass It On Week 2019: The Big Declutter. It’s re-use on an industrial scale. Lots of things that want to avoid being sent to landfill and find a new home being used and useful for longer. Staff and students have cleared out offices, cupboards, sheds and wardrobes and all of these items are donated for someone else to re-use them FOR FREE.

This year’s Pass It On Week takes place from 9th – 17th March, and the theme is all about decluttering. The link below has some more information, and some tips on decluttering (I know it’s sad, but when was the last time you used it?)…
Our Big Swish Event last year was a roaring success, and we’d like to have another event this year to spread the recycling and re-using message.
So, this is a plea to anyone who is looking around their rooms, sheds, garages, offices, cupboards and wardrobes saying “where did all of this stuff come from?” – think about recycling it. You might be bored with it, or it’s annoying you being in the way and gathering dust, but someone else might be looking for it, needing it and willing to take it off your hands.
As previously, there are a few simple rules to follow: only things that are in reasonable clean condition and not broken; no perishables, no knives and no electrical items (remember computers and mobiles can always be donated to the WEEE Centre for re-sale). We can take donations of clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, toys, household items, art and craft supplies, office stationery/folders and pretty much anything that’s in good condition and can be re-used by someone else.
If you have donations please contact Jane Edwards (details on the right), or drop off to Webster.
Many thanks to all donors in advance: everything donated will be offered FREE for staff and students to take away and re-use.
