WEEE Centre

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment in Perth that would otherwise go to landfill sites is now being repaired and reused or recycled, thanks to the WEEE Centre at Perth College UHI.

Since opening the WEEE Centre in September 2010 Perth College UHI has recycled around 24 tonnes of IT equipment either by repairing and selling or recycling.

We accept donations of all types of working or damaged IT equipment: DVDs, Videos, game machines and mobile phones.

IT and electrical equipment can be dropped off at Friarton Road Recycling centre, Perth.

If you or your company would like to donate any items to the WEEE Centre, please call a member of staff to arrange drop off.

Collection can be arranged for large quantities of goods, so please call for further details.

The WEEE Centre also supports college work placements by offering students a chance to work within the centre to develop their employability skills and gain a chance to work within a real work environment.
