What is your exercise routine?
I run 3 times a week, but I've added in a walk of about 5k on non running days. I do a couple of ASW strength or core classes on my non running days too.
What keeps you motivated?
I love my coffee and cake so for me the exercise is all about feeling I can treat myself!
Have you signed up to any challenges/ set any goals/ achieved any PB’s/ completed any challenges recently?
ASW challenges such as the 5k a day in May and January. Entered the Lands End to John O'Groats event which counted any walking, running and cycling. Personal goals include keeping to my 3 runs a week and walking on the other days.
What advice would you give to others who are looking to become more active?
Even a little exercise is good. Set some small goals and reward yourself when you achieve them. Make time every day for some form of exercise even if it's just a walk round the block and try to get out in daylight as this makes a huge difference to mental health and wellbeing.
